FIBCOM 6350 switch node enables the user to build future proof networks, which easily adapt to new services and have the ability of easy expansion. Thus solving the evolving needs for multiple services, networking, higher transmission rates and switching capacity.
The FIBCOM 6350 switch node efficiently act as multi-service- platform with a very compact architecture, allowing flexible configurations by combining both higher order SDXC (4/4) and lower order SDXC (4/1) Cross Connect.
Very high density and high capacity node fabric with 20 universal interface slots, 100 Gbit/s capacity per subrack, 400 Gbit/s capacity per back-to-back rack. It enables unlimited drop of up to 128 VC-4 signals from a 10 Gbit/s line or multi-ring add-drop multiplexer.
Both network protections as well as equipment protection are integrated part of the FIBCOM 6350 switch node thereby eliminating single point of failure.
6350 switch node architecture is ideal for STM-16 and STM-64 regional/metropolitan rings with nodes that drop off a mixture of SDH or GbE signals. The traffic can be protected using SNC and 2 fibre MS-SPRing protection.
6350 switch node it is possible to interconnect up to 5 STM-64 rings or alternatively up to 20 STM-16 rings, all with full connectivity.
